Pointers

I was a very pleased with the entry at this show, the condition and movement of the dogs was very good considering the floor in the ring was a little slippy for the dogs to stride out. Standing proved difficult for some exhibits as the rear legs were over stretched slightly and the feet were constantly slipping. I was pleased that there were no bad mouths, no hackney action, but muscle condition was not at its best.

Puppy (8, 2a)

1st Watkins & Davies, Hurwyn Law N' Order, 10 mth B&W dog, nicely proportioned head, Well arched neck into well laid shoulders, clean outline, still a youngster and needs a little weight to complete, good rear assembly, correct lashing tail, good turn of stifle & good feet, moved well.

2nd, Anthony, Jilony Here's Hoping.

3rd, Stilgoe, Tenshilling Turning Tables to Teisgol.

Junior (3, 0a)

1st Stilgoe, Teisgol Foxy Lady, 14mth B&W bitch, very feminine head, correct eye, Good neck into correct shoulders, well bodied level topline, short coupled, good rear assemble with scope to drop into her stifle, well muscled,  correct tail set but carried slightly high today. moved well.

2nd Anthony, Jilony Red Arrow. 11 month O&W dog, Beautiful head, good neck into well laid back shoulders, good bone and feet, well bodied and super rear end assembly, moved effortlessly around the ring, has reached his full size at 11 months. Best Puppy in Breed

3rd, Tregaskis, Moenfair Choirboy

1st Rankine, Jilony Heaven Can Wait for Fyldefair JW ShCM, L&W bitch Beautifully balanced from head to tail level topline every thing in correct proportion and nothing over done. moved well and easily around the ring.

1st Craik, Scobec Ice Maiden. O&W bitch, feminine head good neck into well laid back shoulders, deep chest and lovely curves to good rear construction, moved with drive on a difficult floor, both bitches were very good but 2nd lost out on maturity.

1st, Stilgoe, Teisgol Just By Chance. 2 year old B&W dog, Masculine head on long neck into lovely shoulders, lovely oval bone, good depth of body and strong loin into very well muscled rear end, solid first & second thighs, excellent tail action and moved with drive once handler had him under control, Reserve Best of Breed

2nd Brooksmith, Smartbay Vintage Gold

3rd Cherry, Chaseover Twinkling Star at Shanandi.
