GORDON SETTERS

Junior (5) 1. Roberts’ Cairacailie Casanova. Good type if a bit on the big side for my taste. Balanced head with good depth and clear stop, lovely eye shape showing intelligent expression. Plenty of forechest and deep through brisket, ample spring of rib. Strong loin, well developed second thigh. BPIB & RBOB. 2. Griffiths’ Lourdace Flair for Birchgarth. 3. Jaconelli’s Hernwood Causin A Storm for Togipoto

Post Grad (5) 1. Seymour’s Pegasett Black N Tantrum. Well presented with good red markings. Deep muzzle, good stop and eye shape. Plenty of length to upper arm but needs more depth. Strong topline and correct tail set, neat feet. 2. L. Flair for B. 3. Collingborn’s Graylacier Princess Sophia

Open (4) Tong’s Liric Special Tribute to Kellizlot (AI) JW. Typey dog displaying good overall shape with level topline and tail well set on. Square finish to foreface, plenty of brain room and ears set low. Excellent lay back of shoulder, strong, flat bones, broad, muscular hind quarters, clear red markings. Moved well. BOB. 2. L. Flair for B

Clumber Spaniels

Junior (4) 1. Monaghan’s Tweedsmuir Krushed Ice. What a star she is! Has poise, presence and style and oozes breed type. Her head and expression are to die for. She powers round the ring as if to say ‘Who’s second?’. BPIB, Puppy Group 1 and BPIS. 2. Boden’s Suelynda Heaven Sent. 3. Newsham & Brookshaw’s Anbrook Miranda

Post Grad (2) 1. Monaghan’s Tweedsmuir Mikado. Lovely head on this beautifully balanced and handsome boy. Big ribs carried well back, powerful quarters with stifles well bent, moved with animation and well handled. RBOB. 2. Charlesworth-Ironside’s Mitanmat Shannon of Belcrum

Open (2) Boden’s Tweedsmuir Klassic Edition Among Suelynda. All male with fabulous bone and substance. Excels in forehand, long, well muscled and strong body with ribs carried well back and strong loin. Powerful well developed quarters, strong hocks, moves effortlessly. BOB and Group 4.

English Springer Spaniels

Junior (4) 1. Downward’s Reubens Razzle Dazzle. Not a big dog but balanced and presenting a racy appearance with good topline and well laid shoulders. Excellent forehand with prominent pro-sternum, well ribbed up and ample turn of stifle. Neat feet. Moved best of all in the challenge to take BOB. 2. Rae’s Melverly Golden Strike BPIB.

Post Grad (3) 1. Ainsley’s Ziphill Thunderflash. Decent head, low set ears, good front, big ribs, strong loin, well turned stifle and well muscled. Moved OK. Rather untypical in outline.

Open (2) 1. Downward’s Alanea Smax at Reubens JW. Typical outline with well laid shoulders, good pro-sternum and return of upper arm. Moved with ESS style but would have liked a kinder eye. RBOB.
