Dalmatian Club Of Scotland

Breed: Junior Handling

Dalmatian Club of Scotland Championship Show

Saturday 20th April 2013

Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge, I had a lovely day, and you should be very proud of your future adult handlers.

Junior Handling 6-11yrs (3,0)

1st Molly Cousins (10) – Molly handled a young Dalmatian with precision and compassion. With a sympathetic handling style, Molly presented teeth accurately and kindly, and completed her pattern work to a high standard, whilst observing the golden rule. Encouraging her charge throughout and smartly dressed to complete the picture. (Best Junior Handler)

2nd Bobi Richardson (7) – Bobi did a nice job, and moved her dog at correct speed throughout, patterns were neatly completed. Showing the dogs teeth could do with some improvement. A promising young handler.

3rd Holly Vockings (7) – Another promising young handler, who was unfortunate to have a difficult dog on the day, which resulted in her handling being a little untidy. Had good control.

Junior Handling 12-16yrs (1,0)

1st Molly Newton O’Brien – Molly did a good job of handling her Dalmatian, completing her pattern work to a high standard with neatness and accuracy. Moving at correct speed for her dog throughout, using gentle encouragement, and good use of voice. Sympathetically handled. Lost out in the challenge on teeth presentation.
