Dobermann: J (3,1) Three quality puppies who were a pleasure to judge. 1 Caffel & Kavanagh’s Doberway Chito Achafed. Smart, well made 10 month old black and tan puppy. Clean, balanced and elegant outline without compromising masculinity. Scores in head and expression. Topline was straight, gently sloping and held firm both standing and on the move. Well laid shoulders, clean wither, short strong loin and just enough hind angulation. Free moving youngster who now needs to mature on and develop in front. Best Puppy and I was very pleased to see him go on to Puppy Group 1 and Reserve Best Puppy In Show. 2 Cleaton’s Roblore Heaven Scent at Jasdekoma. Attractive, feminine black and tan bitch of 14 months who was close up to the winner. Balanced headpiece mounted on a long, well set neck. Adequate depth of chest and straight front. Frim topline and correct underline leading into pleasing turn of stifle. Good reach and drive on the move which just needs to tighten with maturity. 3 Gallagher’s Izralight Zorro. O (6) 1 Cleaton’s Jaydex Shining Light at Jasdekoma. Extremely honest black and tan bitch of 5 years. Harmonious, balanced outline with well developed and correctly angulated quarters. Lovely head shape from all angles, dark eye and tight lips, mounted on a clean length of neck. Excellent front on with depth and width, standing on perfectly straight legs and wonderful feet. Good coupling with short firm loin. Sound, easy movement with particularly good front action. Best of Breed and pleased to see her take Group 3. 2. Wright’s Amazon Playing with Fire to Sealandair JW ShCM. Black and tan dog in good hard condition. Well boned and up to size. A showy dog he catches the eye with his masculine, well proportioned head. Straight front, tight feet, strong and slightly sloping topline. Well ribbed and pleasing croup leading into correctly angulated hindquarters. Powerful mover, but needed a bigger ring to get into his stride. Reserve Best of Breed. 3. Caffel & Kavanagh’s Chocktaws Chip of Doberway
