BRACCO ITALIANO

Open (2, 0 abs). Two very nice examples of the breed here. Preferred head and eye of 1. Abbishaw & Jaques Curlabull Heart of Gold at Hastabbi Long, narrow head, good eye shape, strong through neck. Strong and straight in front with broad, deep chest. Good spring of rib and muscular quarters. Good square appearance. Moved well. BOB and Group 3. 2. Abraham’s Ardenstorn Luciano Bosis Sh CM.

GSP

Sp Yearling (1, 0 abs) 1. Drew and Garaham’s Barleyarch Tartan. I fell for this boy who was making his first appearance at just 6 months old. He excels in front with compact feet, good reach of neck and shoulders well laid back. Short back and stands over plenty of ground. Strong loin. Moved on an easy stride with lovely tail carriage. Has the attitude and showmanship to take him far. BOB and Puppy Grp 1.

Open (2, 1abs) 1. Drew and Garaham’s Alcazar Shanghi Surprise. Well balanced throughout. Straight front with pronounced pro-sternum. Good through neck and shoulders, ribs well sprung, good rear angulation and tail set. Needs mort work in head and feet could be better. BOS.

ITALIAN SPINONE

Sp Yearling. A lovely class. 1 Ord’s Giovale Dante’s Peak. Solid 14 month old dog who excels in front angulation and with correct feet both fore and aft. Correct head planes with that beautiful almost human expression. Broad, deep chest with pronounced pro-sternum. Good topline and slightly sloping croup. Moved well displaying typical Spinone gait. 2. Nicholson’s Olivechi Dainty Bess 3. Abbishaw’s Hastabbi Bucks Fizz . Best Puppy

Open (2, 0 abs) 1. Jonsson’s Sh Ch Giovale Arvo. What a lovely girl with a head and expression to die for. True front, plenty of depth and great spring of rib. Good return of upper arm and nice rise over loin. Strong quarters and moved on a long, relaxed stride. Didn’t have the same sparkle when it came to the group. BOB. 2. Ord’s Netis Al Rite Now.

WEIMARANER

Open (3, 2abs) 1. Rayner’s Gunalt Private Art at Raystans JW Sh CM. Pity he was alone but what a cracker. Presents an imposing and impressive picture with symmetry and balance all through. Clearly all male who gives his all. Oozes breed type and moves like a train. I thought he was absolutely lovely. Expertly and quietly handled to Group 1.

AVNSC

Junior (4, 2 abs0 1. Robson’s Risekar Ere We Go Again to Mimaro. Field Sp. Typical head but would have preferred a more open eye. Strong, level back with good topline and tail set although his tail carriage could have been better. Happy and agile mover. 2. Hughes Quintic the Countryman, Sussex.

Open (2, 1 abs) 1. Hope and Kane’s Paradise Fidelius for Jenesta. Gordon Setter. Happy girl, pity she’d left her coat behind. Good head with deep muzzle, nice chiselling. Decent spring of rib but would like more depth. Bit erratic on the move. Best AVNSC.
