South of England Basset Hound Club Open Show 05/02/06
I would like to thank the officers and committee for their kind invitation, and the exhibitors for taking my decisions graciously. I was happy with my principle winners and the overall quality of my entry. However, I found a few suspect mouths and some hounds were penalised for carrying too much weight.
Minor Puppy
1 Luxmoore Ball’s Tanneron Guinness. Black Blanketed tri, Super head qualities and expression, prominent occiput with dark eyes, lovely deep lip and curling long leathers, well arched neck, good shoulders with sternum developing nicely, long rounded ribcage and strong topline, super rear angulation and tailset. Well let down hocks with pouches, feet need to tighten, massive bone throughout Totally balanced for one so young. Moved true when he decided to go in a straight line. What a little cracker one I will watch with interest. Outstanding on the day! BPD. BPIS

Nicely arched neck well laid shoulders with tight elbows good front assembly with well-developed sternum and deep chest. Ribs carried well back level topline and nicely angulated rear quarters, which he uses to advantage when in the mood. Good bone throughout. Standing square on tight well padded feet. Carrying a little too much weight, which lost him further consideration.

Well-developed sternum fitting nicely into crook. Good ribs carried well back with well-angulated rear. With well let down hocks and pouches. Decided not to cooperate when it came to movement.
