GORDON SETTERS

Junior (3) Pleasing class of youngsters. 1. Fraser’s Settaside Citronella, loved the head on this 15mth bitch. Excellent shoulder placement with good length of upper arm, true in front and substantial hindquarters. Moved steadily. 2. Hill’s Liric Dancing Together at Somerled. Liked him very much, good breed type all through. BP. 3. McCutcheon & Williamson’s Celtaur Camhanach.

Postgraduate (1) Fraser’s Capeldare Mistress O’Fife. Gorgeous expression but just not co-operating with her handler. Clearly didn’t want to stand still! Moved OK.

Open (1) 1. Shepherd’s Prairiedawn Sole Legacy. Very stylish, rugged sort of dog with excellent pro-sternum, deep ribs, short back, level topline and well turned stifles. Economical on the move with plenty of reach in front. BOB

WELSH SPRINGER SPANIELS

Junior 1.(3,1 ab) Hartley’s Weslave Fly By Nite. 11mth bitch full of breed type and displaying typical temperament. Fabulous head with kindly expression, strong, muscular body, powerful movement. BP & to my delight, Puppy Group 1. 2. Morgan’s Amiro The Borderer. Naughty little boy enjoying being outside. Very merry and strong action.

Postgraduate (2) 1. Baker’s Anibesco Standing Ovation. In lovely coat and condition, gleaming white with rich red. Beautiful head. Presented a strong, active picture with a very merry wagging tail. 2. Long & Leeming’s Cleavehill Melys Mwyaren. Sound moving bitch, clearly enjoys her dinners!

Open. (1) 1. Baker’s Anibesco Starlight Express. Oozes breed type, so very spanielly. Displaying strength and vigour combined with powerful ground-covering movement. Just loved her! BOB and Group 3.
