Guildford & District C S. 16th February 2020

The valentine show was a great success albeit in dreadful conditions outside. Storm Dennis decided he was very much trying to spoil the day, but it didn’t and the show was most enjoyable. The hard working committee certainly made everybody welcome. To my steward on the day a huge thank you she really made my day.

A.V.N.S.C. Gundog Puppy (3:2)

1. Murray & Mckenzie American cocker male 8 months old. He certainly knows how to enjoy himself presented in fabulous condition. Moved well I like his very much so displaying a true American cocker head and finish in muzzle.

A.V.N.S.C. Gundog junior (4:1)

A.V.N.S.C. Gundog Post Grad.2

Not sure if it was the weather that made these exhibits a tad uncomfortable on the day, however I preferred winner in overall confirmation and body but like the movement on the second place better. Both in my opinion need a little more confidence, which I am sure they will gain over time.

1 Worrall Gaesten Tatler’s Tezza Lagotto.

2 Grantham Mizani Diora Rose.

A.V.N.S.C. Gundog Open (5:2)

1 Poynter & Lewis Quensha Cowboys and Angels. A young dog at 2 ½ years old, but what a character he is, moved really well when he got his head into gear I think her thought he was on a beach!!. He made a very challenging time for his handler for a short while. Presented in wonderful coat and condition, his head and expression is breath-taking, his overall outline and balance is so true. Delighted to award him the Gundog group later in the day and even more delighted when he went BIS under Judge Mark Cocozza. Congratulations he looked wonderful.

2 Thorogood Sh Ch Winhampton over the Yardarm of Harrifield Jw Shcm. Unlucky to meet winner on such form today, he is a grand example of the breed at 5yrs old he is in his prime. Moves with effortless movement which was at times difficult for most dogs during the day, as the sandy floor was very wet in the ring.

3 Grantham Mizani dorocco Raffaele.
