Judge – Mrs Jane Eyeington

I would like to thank the committee for their kind invitation to judge at this show, and for the exhibitors for their acceptance of me as a last minute change of judge. What a super venue, very spacious allowing for good sized rings, light and airy, with a good car park. My thanks must go to my very efficient stewards. But most of all to the exhibitors, for the pleasure of your dogs

Labrador Retriever

Puppy (6,1)

1. Mr & Mrs Braddon - Trendlewood Dunnabbey Ten Out Of Ten

Lovely 9 month old yellow, heading a strong class. This young bitch caught my eye as she is just right for size and balance. She has a lovely flow to her outline, nothing is overdone and carrying the right amount of weight. She shows herself off to advantage. Her head has good balance, with length and strength to the foreface, eye still to darken a fraction, well placed and used ears. Strong neck flowing seamlessly into a firm topline and well set on tail. Depth through the ribcage and strong hindquarters. Shown in good coat. Moving out soundly and with positive footfall - BP

Her head is well proportioned with good width to the backskull and length to the foreface. Her neck is of good length and cleanly fitting into her shoulders. Brisket is well let down with a lovely spring to the ribs. Liked her hindquarters, they show a good width of thigh and bend to the stifle. Moving with ease and true

2. Baker & Judd - Harpitts Minnie Mack

Strongly made 13 month old chocolate dog. This young dog gives the impression of power and strength. When stood has a lovely body shape, his profile shows to be compact.
