Birmingham & District Toy Dog Society

Junior: 1st, Valbeccas Golden Dream - A striking cream male at 14 months of age, who demanded my attention as soon as he entered the ring. He covered the ground well with good front and rear action. Underneath his full silky coat was a well made dog of good bone, substance and a length to height ratio that I liked a lot. His head completed the package with a 50/50 muzzle to skull, nicely placed ears, large almond eyes and correct bite. 2nd: Wizzizz Black Magic - A very promising 8 month black and tan bitch puppy, with a good amount of bone and pleasing proportions. A feminine head and gentle expression with a nice length of muzzle, correct bite, good pigmentation and a soft silky coat. She carried herself well on the move and held the correct tail-set. BP, shortlisted for BPIS.

Post Graduate: Starleisha Dazzling Dream - A 17 month silver sable bitch of top drawer! Her good length of muzzle, moderate stop, correctly placed ears and wonderfully pigmented large dark almond eyes came together nicely to create the desired head and expression. Her body was well made with an impressive front assembly, good bone and proportions, and a slight rise over the loin. She covered the ground effortlessly showing off her silky flowing coat, good reach of neck, correct tail-set and the desired breed movement. My pleasure to award BOB. 2nd: ValbeccasGolden Dream - See above.

Open: A quality class with four very typey males 1st: Newtonwood Yours Truly- A two year old cream male. Textbook head and expression with great pigment, correct silky coat and a body that ticked all the boxes - good reach of neck, well laid shoulders, moderately broad chest, straight front, well sprung ribs, straight back with a gentle rise over the lion, moderate angulation, good bone, great length to height and well muscled. He covered the ring proudly showing off his clean movement. My pleasure to award RBOB. 2nd: The Sandman - A very promising 18 month cream and sable male with a great shape and outline, moved well with strong rear action and correct tail-set. Great coat texture and a pleasing head, well placed ears, good pigment and correct dentition.
