Breed: Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

I would like to thank the committee of Plymouth & District Canine Association for inviting me to judge, and my steward who kept the ring running smoothly. Thank you also to the exhibitors for their attendance and sporting attitudes.

Puppy: (3,1)

1st Hawkins’ Lexody’s Divination. 7 month old Blenheim bitch puppy. A lovely confident exhibit. Very pretty head with round, dark eyes, good pigmentation and finished off with a lozenge. Well presented with silky coat and rich chestnut markings, well broken up. Good bone, good angulation and a nice size and shape. Moved well round the ring. Best Puppy in Breed, RBOB and went on to Puppy Group 1

2nd Players’ Anickily Sweet Honeysuckle. 11 month old Blenheim bitch puppy. A nice Blenheim puppy presented well. Sweet head with dark eyes and good pigment. Happy character. Good angles to front and rear. Moved ok. Needs time to mature and body up.

Post Graduate: (3,2)

1st Hawkins’ Lexody’s Incantation. 7 month old Blenheim bitch puppy. Another happy outgoing exhibit from this kennel. Pretty head with dark eyes, flattish skull, good earset. Good rear assembly. Attentive to hander. Moved ok.

Limit: (3,1)

1st Bennett’s Rishtte I’m Tanisha of Remmya JW. 2 year old Ruby bitch. A lovely girl with pretty head. Soft melting expression, dark eyes and well feathered leathers. Happy outgoing temperament and attentive to handler. Presented in good condition with soft silky rich red coat. Moved well.

2nd Hawkins’ Lexody Pandemonium JW. 20 month old Blenheim dog. Presented well with well broken soft, silky coat. Masculine head with dark eyes, skull almost flat between the well set ears, good pigmentation. Confident and happy. Moved well.

Open: (3,2)

1st Williams’ Mirrilwills Avalina. 4 year old Blenheim bitch. A bitch I have judged before and she continues to shine. Pretty head with soft expression, dark eyes, good pigmentation and finished off nicely with a Blenheim spot. Presented beautifully with plenty of soft, silky well-broken coat. Great temperament and lovely to watch on the move – held a level topline at all times. Best of Breed.
