Banbury & District Canine Association

Banbury & District Canine Association Open Show – Monday 6th May 2024

Judge – Mrs Kelly Hampton Lee (Kelrick)

I would like to thank the committee of Banbury & District Canine Association for inviting me to judge at their show and my steward Jenny Sharp for organising the ring efficiently for me. It was a lovely show with a great atmosphere and I had some good quality exhibits to assess. Thank you to all the exhibitors for bringing their dogs for me to go over and for their sporting attitude in accepting my decisions.

Japanese Chin

P: (3,1) 1. Baranzeck’s Capevidles Chinook. 11 month old black & white puppy dog. Happy, lively and outgoing with a super personality. Lovely head with dark eyes and a small amount of white showing giving the desired “astonished” expression. Moderately broad skull, short muzzle with enough cushioning. Square and compact – a lovely shape with tail set high, profusely feathered and plumed over the back. Good front and rear angulation and used this to good effect moving with style around the ring. A very promising puppy. BPIB and BOB. Lovely to hear he went on to achieve Puppy Group 2.

2. Baranzeck’s Capevidles Lemon Drizzle. 11 month old red & white puppy bitch. Another happy little dog with plenty of personality. Pretty head with dark eyes, fairly broad skull, small wide set ears and large nose with wide open nostrils. Moderate length neck. Strong fine bone and hare feet. Moved well around the ring. Preferred the shape of the winner. RBOB
